Posted: 26 January, 2013

Registration for the Heart + Lung Health FEST 2013 Scientific Symposium is now open! To register, click here.

Built on dialogue, expansion of viewpoints and ideas, and good cheer, the annual FEST provides an incredible opportunity to engage and learn alongside professionals from all relevant heart and lung domains. In the past years, FEST has set a standard for excellence, and FEST 2013 is no exception. Hosted by the Institute for Heart and Lung Health, this year’s fest will offer participants the opportunity to hear from top experts, present their posters, network with likeminded professionals, and celebrate successes in research and knowledge.

As the program committee and organizers work diligently in the preparations for FEST 2013, we invite you to explore the event website, www.fest.heartandlung.ca. Familiarize yourself with this year’s variety of themes and make note of the annual Special Lecture Series. This year’s Special Lecture Series includes Dr. Andrew Khran, the Sauder Family Chair and Chief of Cardiology at UBC, who will be presenting the BC Lecture, as well as Dr. Jonathan Samet, who will be joining us from the University of Southern California as the 2013 recipient of the David Bates Lecture.

Whether you are an established health practitioner, a medical student, or someone who would like to learn more about heart and lung health, FEST 2013’s program will have something for you.
