The Heart + Lung Institute is dedicated to the promotion and enrichment of Knowledge Translation & Research and thus mandates a select committee of diverse professionals to works towards the implementation of the following goals.
To support the pursuit of internationally superior (quality and impact) fundamental, translational, clinical, health services, and outcomes research.
To foster leadership roles in observational and therapeutic clinical trials and in translational research.
To seek new interfaces that are likely to lead to breakthroughs in the laboratory, the clinic or the community.
